Romancing the Mouse is owner-managed by our home-schooled family of five.  My wife Holly & I own & rent four of the nicest pool homes in the two premier gated, short-term rental communities in the Disney area.  Unlike huge property management companies, who hand you the keys and expect you to fend for yourself, we personally greet you & your family with fresh flowers & warm chocolate chip cookies.  We familiarize you with your home, your resort & the local area and become your local, Disney-savvy point-of-contact.  We’ll provide you with local maps, guidance to avoid the tourist traps, and tell you about the secret shortcuts that only the locals know.

 

OUR GOALS ARE:

2)  To strengthen family relationships - we try to do this is two ways:

a)  We create an environment where families can reconnect & create special memories – family vacations ‘punctuate’ our lives and are the source of special family memories.  By minimizing the stress & hassles of an inherently stressful time, those memories become only positive.  For example, all of our homes have a minimum of two master suites.  With adequate consideration to space & privacy, we strongly encourage the idea of including grandparents in your vacation plans.  Since our homes are a vacation destination in their own right, not everyone needs to participate in every activity, and yet no one is considered to be ‘stuck’ back in the hotel.(Learn More)
